Discord So many chills during last second victories. Amazing, frustrating, rewarding, it was definitely the Tom Cruise Maverick fix I was expecting and more. And Ace Combat 7.GODDAMN that's a game that makes you feel like a baller ass hero and the I'm definitely in the camp that says "the music for robbed in all award sites for the year". Titanfall 2 was pure joy and I don't know how many times in the short campaign I laughed out loud at how good the gameplay is and moments where it made you feel badass. Tizoc I just wanna thank you for the recommendations from my older post. Obviously more to the backlog but those are the ones on my radar I'm in the mood for. Never touched any of the DLC so it'll be interesting to see it and I honestly don't remember the game being bloated with a ton of meaningless side stuff. This is a replay, as I beat the base game on PS3, but I just loved the setting, story, combat. I'm ready for the conclusion to this trilogy. Short(ish) games with a forgettable story but I think of these as dumb blockbuster movies you watch, chuckle to yourself, then forget about. I recently ran through Rise a few weeks ago. But I'd like a narrative, with choices (even if they don't mean shit but I can turn off my brain for the illusion that they do), and it's an interesting world that's a departure from typical RPGs like medival fantasy or blended sci fi. I heard that this is remotely close to old Bioware, maybe comparable to Dragon Age 2 (I'm one of four people on earth that liked it). I know there's jank and seemingly bland environments but I'm ok with heading into it. I trust in Remedy gunplay and it doesn't seem like it'd be a long game. Many praises for it, even the wife is interested in what seems like a dope story.

I enjoy bouncing around to my older systems and I'm a Platinum fan for life.Įven though I recently finished Ass Creed Black Flag and Watch Dogs, I was slightly frustrated with the Ubisoft bloat, yet playing these two got me intrigued into their worlds, so despite that, I think I'm ok with jumping right back into another Ubi game. I played this probably two years ago, stopped maybe a third of the way, want to get back to it but I know it's gonna be a bit to get used to the controls again. Of course, I sprinkle in fighting games and comfort food games like basketball, Dragons Dogma and NFS Heat in between them all since they don't require me to remember any story and they're pick up and play. So after those games and even finishing up Afterparty, Rise of the Tomb Raider and Wolfenstein Youngblood, I'm looking for my next narrative game in the backlog.
